NLBA Select Program

ALL Competitive and Select Head Coaches must have completed or be registered for their level 1's through http://www.baseballontario.com/Coachs/ (go to coaches) for the 2012 Season

NLBA anticipates that we will field two Select teams for the 2012 season with the possibility of the Select programming being introduced at the Rookie and Bantam level. The LDBA and all of the affiliate associations worked diligently towards an improved program for the 2011 season and based on the positive results are considering expansion. A static set of improved and efficient rules have been adopted for the Select program for the London area. There are six associations participating.

Our Select teams will play a regular season schedule of at least 16 games, are eligible to participate in SOBA tournaments across Ontario and will have LDBA sanctioned playoffs. Our Select teams may also choose to qualify for their own Provincial Championships on Labour Day weekend.

Their has been conversations regarding the LDBA creating a London Select Team to represent and particpate at the SOBA Provincial finals and or tournaments throughout the season.

NLBA is a strong supporter of the Select program and we look forward to a great season for our Select Nationals.
