North London Baseball needs your help!

North London Baseball is seeking volunteers for the 2012 season.

The 2012 season prep work is well under way and we need your help! Planning and development starts now and we are asking for some of your time to make sure the 2012 season is a great one.

We have made some huge strides forward this year and have put together a strong, energetic, fun and committed baseball league.  In order to build on that success we need your help.  Take a few minutes, look over the information and give us and your children a hand.

Students - Community Hours

North London baseball has opportunities to aid High School students in receiving their community service hours.

Students can help coaching staff and get their hours, what could be better: teaching the game we love to our younger brothers, sisters, friends and family. Making new little friends that look up to you and say the greatest words you will ever hear...THANKS COACH

Many hands make light work!

Needed are a dedicated group of parents to organize and run baseball in North London:

• Registration in February and March
• Recruit and develop coaches
• Set up and schedule house league, select and competitive teams
• Order and arrange pick-up of uniforms and equipment
• Seek out sponsors
• Provide skill development clinics for players
• Work with the city to have diamonds scheduled and in good shape
• Schedule umpires
• Recruit and develop umpires
• Arrange for team photos
• Organize team recognition
• Maintain financial control
• Year end banquet
• Coaches Clinics
• NLBA Celebration Day
• Tournaments
• Fundraising
• Liason with London & District Baseball Association
